I once came across a review of a hotel where the guest was complaining about their hotel room’s window. She said that she booked a hotel room because she was enticed with the ad that she once saw. However, to her surprise, when she got there, the room has no window. That, in turn, made her stay awful because not only did she not get to see a good view by her supposed window but the lack of window made her room’s temperature uncomfortable as well. You see, tourists travel because they want to experience and see new things, not walls and other unpleasant views. That being said, hoteliers should also put an effort on adding windows and equip it with good-quality blinds and shutters.

Windows contribute greatly to the experience of the guests. Truth be told, all hotels are almost the same – white or beige bed sheets, pillowcases, lamps, walls, etc. But with windows, hotel rooms’ overall look changes and every room becomes more unique. In fact, in reviews, many people say that they often take a look at the establishment’s windows first because it can affect their stay. Accommodations with windows rigged with channel blind and other types of shutter and blinds attract more guests because it is more pleasing to the eyes and it somehow gives the impression that guests will have a more delightful stay without being blinded by the harmful rays of the sun.

Business establishments, especially hotels, should provide comfort while making their guests feel the leisure that they can offer to them. Because of that, it is best that hoteliers should start looking at their windows to see if it is well-maintained as it can greatly affect their guests’ stay.
